Frequently Asked Questions
What is Motion Air?
Motion Air is a private aviation company based in Kelowna, BC, providing direct, efficient access to regional and remote destinations across Western Canada and the North, and virtually anywhere in the United States and Mexico. Through a membership program, members enjoy all the advantages of private air travel—without the cost or complexity of aircraft ownership.
How does the Motion Air membership program work?
Membership operates on a shared access model. Each unit represents a set number of flight hours per year, giving members private access to your jet. You only pay for the hours you fly, with scheduling flexibility and priority booking included.
Who is Motion Air designed for?
Our service is built for anyone looking for an alternative to airline schedules. This includes families, government agencies, corporate teams, and industries that operate in remote or underserved areas or are looking for an achievable means to travel on their own terms. It’s ideal for individuals or organizations that need efficient, on-demand travel made easy.
What aircraft does Motion Air operate?
We currently operate a Cessna Citation 550 Bravo , a proven twin-engine business jet known for safety, reliability, and short-runway capability. It’s perfect for regional missions, carrying up to nine passengers comfortably while reaching smaller airports that most jets cannot. Our operation is not limited to one aircraft type. Should an individual or organizations wish to bring their own aircraft into our program, we can facilitate the day-to-day operation of that aircraft and present the option for cost recovery through our platform.
What destinations can Motion Air reach?
Motion Air serves communities and industries throughout North, Central and South America, including remote northern airports and short-field locations that major airlines can’t access. Members can request direct routes tailored to their operational needs.
What are the main advantages of membership?
Membership offers priority access, time savings, predictable costs, and full-service management. In practice, that means no lineups, no commercial delays, and direct travel that saves entire workdays per trip—especially for teams working in remote regions.
